Hi, my name is Renee and rather than travel through mid-life alone, I decided to invite you along.
At first, I tried dealing with menopause symptoms on my own. But I missed feeling the way I did when I was younger; I missed feeling strong, healthy, and energetic. I went to see a few doctors to ask if there was something they could do to help, but their answers for me were mainly to go cold turkey or take chemicals. There didn’t seem to be many options.
So I started doing my own research….
Funny enough, there wasn’t much out there. Most women seemed very uncomfortable talking about it –men certainly were! Of course, we’re not in the 1950’s anymore where women were “with child” and we couldn’t say the word “pregnant”, BUT are we still at that stage with menopause? We say “oh, she’s going through the change” and then look the other way and hope the subject changes too.
Well, I won’t go down without a fight. In fact, I don’t want to just survive it. I want this stage of my life to be the best ever! This website is for us and I would love to hear from you. Please let me know what you think, what you’d like to see me review, and any comments you have. Good and bad, I will welcome any suggestions to improve my readers’ experience.
